Jack Of All Trades.
I'm a designer and a creative problem solver. I didn’t take a conventional path to get here. I studied interior design, where I learned the fundamentals - things like color theory, composition, balance, hierarchy, and craft. I also learned that sweating the details was an integral part of the process and long nights in the studio were a given.
After several years, I switched my degree to communications but I couldn’t escape design’s grasp. I still had both the passion and talent for it. My interior design classes hadn’t included things like typography and layout, but I was eager to learn. What I initially lacked in formal training, I quickly made up for with tenacity and an eye for design.
Through the intersection of hard work and luck, I found opportunities. People took chances on me and I worked hard to learn all I could from each experience. My multidisciplinary background and grit have informed who I am as a designer. I love challenging myself to learn and hone new skills and I bring enthusiasm and a determined attitude to everything I do.
